2. Entities type:-The business entity must be registered under the companies act 2013 as one of the following entity types.
3. Turnover of the company:- The annual turnover of the company shall not be more than 100 crore rupees for any calendar year since its incorporation date.
4. Existence period of the company:- The existence period of the entity should be more than 10 years from the day of incorporation.
5. Innovation and the scalable entity:- The essential aspect of any business is whether the idea is scalable or innovative. Scalability & innovation are important factors for businesses, and DPIIT pays attention to them before recognizing new businesses under startup India recognition.
Before applying for Startup India recognition, the applicant must determine whether or not they are qualified. Their firm must be established as a legal business entity per the company registration act in the following category.
The next step is to create a profile on the portal by filing an online form and uploading the required details, such as email address and OTP, to verify the identity.
Once the profile creation is complete, the applicant will be eligible for the following.
Once the profile is created, the startups must file for DPIIT recognition. To apply for recognition, navigate to the startup recognition form from the dashboard. You must fill in the asked details, such as company details to complete the process.
