Jute Products Development & Export Promotion Council (JPDEPC) is an industry-led organization created with the aim of promoting the export of jute goods & increasing their sustainability. The council was created under the Companies Act of 1956 and operates as a non-profit entity.

JPDEPC's main objective is to give a push to the initiatives required for the export of jute goods and to help increase their sustainability. To achieve this, the council works closely with government organizations, jute product manufacturers, and exporters. It provides training, technical assistance, and market information to help these stakeholders increase the competitiveness of their products in foreign market.

The documents that are needed to be enclosed for the jute product development and export promotion council. The documents should be duly attached while applying for the registration cum membership certificate (RCMC).

3. PAN Card Details
4. IEC code certificate
5. Original bank certificate of export
6. List of directors in case of company
7. Trust deed is required in case of a trust
8. Bye laws & list of committee members with details in case of co-op society
9. MoA & AoA/partnership deed/proprietor/partner details respectively as applicable
10. In case of manufacturer exporter the proof of business such as SSI certificate/ MSME certificate is required

The membership cost for the jute product development and export promotion council can vary depending upon the annual export turnover of the applicants. However, the one time admission fee remains the same for all the exporters of the council which is ₹1,534 + 18% GST.

The fee for issuance of new RCMC is INR 3068 including GST and the fee for any amendment in RCMC is INR 1000 + 18% GST on it.
