LMPC Certificate certifies that the import of products is done as per the rules. It is mandatory to get by all the importers and packers. The application for LMPC Certificate needs to be applied for within 90 days from the start of the import. Submission of required documents along with application form and after certain verification, LMPC Certificate is issued. On June 1, 2011, under Legal Metrology Act, 2009 to relate to standards for weights and measures, control trade and commerce in weights and measures and other goods sold or distributed by weight, measure, or number, and for matters related to or incidental thereto.
LMPC Certificate is needed in the import of the pre-packed goods.
The documents required for partnership firm registration are Application Form 1,Copy of Partnership Deed,ValidUnder section 5 of the LM Act, every unit of weight or measure must adhere to the metric system, which is based on the international system of units. ID proof,Passport etc.
