• DSC is mandatory for authorised signatory.

• LMPC Registration Application:- First It is necessary to complete the initial application form. A local government organization's director or controller of legal metrology receives the application.
• Submission of the Documents:- The application form is accompanied by the required documents.
• Reviewing of Application:- The appropriate tax officer then reviews the application form and documents.
• Premises Inspection:- For further information for more clarification the required tax officer inspects the premises.
• Make Payment:- Payment is required after the application and any accompanying paperwork have been received. The issuance of registration certificates takes seven days.
• Issuing of LMPC Certificate:- Once the procedure has been finished, an LMPC Certificate is awarded.

The obligatory declarations that must be displayed on every package are as follows:

• Name and address of the manufacturer and packer where packer and manufacturer are different.And Address and Name of the manufacturer.
• Country of Origin of the Commodity
• Generic or Common Name of commodity.
• MRP of the products or Maximum Retail Price
• Net weight or quantity of the product expressed as a standard unit measure, weight, or quantity
• Email address, name, telephone no., and address, need to be mentioned of the person in case of complaint by the customer.
• Commodity’s Country of Origin.
• Details on the import, manufacture, or pre-packing year and month.
• Net quantity of the product contained in the package in terms of standard unit measure or weight or in number
• Detail of the year and month of pack or import or manufacture or pre-packed.
• The person's name, phone number, address, and email address of the person must be stated, in case of complaint by the customer.

On the packed good, there needs to be a well-defined, noticeable, and clear statement. To protect the interests of the customer, certain information must be given on packaging during retail sales.
