In India, all bluetooth or wireless devices including Wireless Repeater requires an ETA Certificate. It is an Equipment Type Approval issued by Wireless Planning and Coordination wing to the individuals whose businesses deals with wireless devices.

The first step is to fill out the application form at Saral Sanchar Portal. You will need to login first and then it requires your details along with some documentation for further procedures.
A Radio Frequency Test is mandatory before applying for the ETA Certificate to ensure the products do follow the national frequency standards while meeting the requirements of the users and are also not harmful by extending the frequency range.
After filing an online application, you have to submit some necessary documents for further procedure which needs to be truthful.
For further procedure a particular fee is required to be deposited including government fee for authorizing the certificate by WPC Officers.
After completing these 4 steps, your documents will be observed by a WPC Officer to check that the documents are truthful and do not contain any secrecy then ETA Certificate will be authorized to you with no hindrances.
